CAPSULE SUMMARY:

Optimizing Ribavirin Dose by Patient Weight Enhances Sustained Viral Responses in Patients With Chronic Hepatitis C

Sustained viral response rates were superior with weight-based dosing of ribavirin compared with fixed-dose ribavirin, especially in HCV genotype 1 patients with high viral load, according to data from the WIN-R study.
